1June 18th, 2016 - After the weather shortened the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event to a one-day show on Saturday, Chris Brown was one of forty-five Super Late Models signed in at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) for the Clash at the Mag. Sending the top four out of the heats, Brown posted a 3rd place finish setting him up with a 7th place starting spot of the feature. With $12,000 on the line, Chris fell four positions recording a 11th place outing.

Making the trek to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Thursday night, Chris Brown was one of seventy-two cars signed in for the 22nd Annual Dirt Late Model Dream. With two preliminary features on the opening night of the three-day UMP DIRTcar sanctioned event, Brown landed a runner-up finish in his heat behind Jonathan Davenport earning him a front row starting spot for the feature starting alongside Steve Casebolt. Battling for a $5,000 payday, Brown surrendered the lead on lap 4 to be later knocked out of the event after making contact with another competitor sending him into the wall.

Returning on Saturday night for another 25-lap preliminary feature, Brown followed up the fifth fastest time in qualifying with a runner-up finish in his heat behind Casey Roberts. Starting on the pole for the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Chris dropped back to a 9th place outing when the checkers flew.

1For the final night of action, Brown was slated to start 4th in his heat race. Transferring the top three into the $100,000-to-win main event, Chris gained one spot edging his way into the finale. Earning a 14th place starting positon for the feature, Chris Brown fell back to a 21st place outing in the 100-lap affair.
