1May 24th, 2014 - Chris Brown returned to the driver's seat of his #21 Super Late Model on Thursday evening as he competed in the opening round of the 22nd Annual Lucas Oil Show Me 100 at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri). A stout field of sixty-three Super Late Models were on hand for the event, and via his qualifying efforts Brown was left starting eighth in his heat race. He advanced to a sixth place finish in his heat, which positioned him starting fifth in the first b-main. 1On Friday evening qualifying and preliminary action was held for the $30,000-to-win, 22nd Annual Lucas Oil Show Me 100, which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS). Sixty-five Super Late Models filled the pit area, and time trials left brown starting sixth in his heat race. He went on to finish sixth in his heat, which sent him to a b-main on Saturday night, where he started sixth. A second place finish in the b-main earned Chris the 22nd starting spot on the grid for the 100 lap finale. Brown battled around mid-pack throughout much of the event before retiring to a 20th place finish in the final rundown. Complete results from the weekend can be found at
