1July 19th, 2014 - After a few weeks away from the track, Chris Brown returned to the seat of his #21 Club 29 Race Cars Super Late Model over the weekend at I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Nebraska). A $30,000 winner's check was on the line in the 4th Annual Silver Dollar Nationals, which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS).

A talent-laden field of fifty-four Super Late Models battled in double heat races on Friday night to determine the lineup for Saturday's 80 lap finale. Unfortunately fifth and sixth place finishes would leave Chris short of locking into the feature, sending him to a b-main on Saturday.

In the b-main Brown would record a fifth place finish, which left him two spots short of the transfer into the main event. However, he would start outside-front-row for the $3,000-to-win, Belt Bash Non-Qualifiers' race alongside Tony Jackson Jr. Jackson Jr. assumed the point at the drop of the green flag and led all 20 laps of the affair while Brown settled for second.
