November 25th, 2013 - Chris Brown and Brown Motorsports are proud to announce a partnership with Jimmy Owens Racing and the LG2 Open Wheel Modified Chassis as they will now serve as an official dealer for the new chassis.

"I've known Jimmy (Owens) for a while, and I really respect what he has been able to accomplish on and off the track in the racing world," notes Brown.  "I really like what he's doing with the new chassis.  I couldn't be more excited to be a part of his team, and we are excited to be offering some of our own custom options on the cars as well."

As an official LG2 dealer Brown Motorsports will offer both a lift arm car as well as a pull bar version of their own custom car, which is called the LG21.  Each version will come complete with a specific shock and spring package exclusive to Brown Motorsports.

"The response has been phenomenal so far, and we are currently working on customer cars trying to get the jump on next season," says Brown.  "We expect more frames to be delivered by mid December, and although most of those frames are spoken for there are still a few slots available.  It's never too early to start preparation for the 2014 season."

Customer service is extremely important to Brown Motorsports, and Chris Brown reflects this in his mission statement.

"With what we are doing with this new endeavor, we are perhaps most proud of the customer service and support that we will be providing to our great clients.  So many times you hear people in our sport complaining that they can't get help over the phone or at the track for their race cars.  Our goal is to provide each and every customer with top-to-bottom support, whenever they need it."

Brown Motorsports also offers a full service shop for all your race car needs including scaling, sheet metal work, etc.

November 14th, 2013 - Thursday evening found Chris Brown entering the opening round of the 7th Annual Lecolift Texas Winter Nationals at Royal Purple Raceway (Baytown, Texas) as a stout field of 64 entries registered for action in the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) program at the state-of-the-art facility.

Debuting his brand new #21 Lone Star Hydro & Maintenance/LG2/Roush Yates Racing Engine entry Chris started his night by advancing from the 3rd starting spot in his heat race to finish 2nd, which locked him into the 13th starting spot for the $2,000-to-win feature. In the main event he raced around mid-pack for the duration of the event before crossing the finish line in the 13th spot.

1November 9th, 2013 - Chris Brown was back behind the wheel of his #21 Lone Star Hydro & Maintenance/Club 29/Roush Yates Racing Engine Super Late Model over the weekend at the Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway (Concord, North Carolina) during the 7th Annual World Finals.

The World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model sanctioned event drew a field of 74 entries to the state-of-the-art, 3/8 mile oval. Thursday night's program was highlighted by two rounds of qualifying that set the heat race line-ups for Friday and Saturday evening's programs. Via a strong performance in qualifying Chris started on the pole of his heat race before finishing 2nd to lock into the 11th starting spot for the $12,000-to-win, 50 lap feature. In the main event passing proved to be difficult, and after racing around mid-pack for much of the event Brown crossed the finish line in the 12th position.

Saturday night's program found Chris starting 6th in his heat race, and advanced to a 4th place finish, which left him one spot short of transferring to the feature. As a result he started on the pole of a b-main, and would battle for a transfer spot throughout the consolation event before falling just one spot short of transferring to the feature as his night came to an early end.

1November 2nd, 2013 - After being delayed over a month by rain the final night of the inaugural Armadillo Nationals was held on Saturday night at Lone Star Speedway (Kilgore, Texas).

Via his performance in preliminary action back in late September Brown earned the 3rd starting spot for the 50 lap, $10,000-to-win finale. As action resumed at the 3/8 mile oval Chris began battling at the front of the field in his #21 LG2 Open Wheel Modified, and he would race in the top five until a mechanical failure near the race's midway point forced him to retire from the event.
