- On Friday night Chris Brown made the trip to Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) competing in three separate divisions for the 5th annual Southern Street Stock Nationals. In a field of 18 Open Wheel Modifieds, Brown secured the 2nd-starting spot for the feature after cruising to a heat race win. Picking up his third win of the season, Chris topped Randy King, Ryan Fowler, Wesley Duboise, and Rodney Etheridge at the finish line to capture the $1,500 payday.

In the NeSmith Crate Late Model ranks, Brown scored a heat race victory from the 5th-starting position locking his spot into the feature. Rolling off 3rd for the $2,000-to-win A-Main, Chris jumped up one spot to place 2nd behind Randy Boyd with Chad Thrash, Josh Banes, and Casey Haney completing the Top 5 finishers.

1Later on in the evening in a stout field of 115 NeSmith Street Stocks, Brown followed up the sixth fastest time overall in qualifying with a 3rd place finish in his heat race. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the feature, Chris captured a consolation win positioning him 11th on the starting grid for the $3,000-to-win main event. Coming short of a Top 10 finish, Chris Brown slipped back to a 23rd place outing in the 50-lap affair.

- Kicking off the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) Hunt for the Casey’s Cup powered by S&S Fishing & Rental, Chris Brown was one of 45 entries signed in at Springfield Raceway (Springfield, Missouri) on Thursday night. After moving up one spot in his heat race to place 3rd, Brown secured his spot into the $4,500-to-win opening night feature with a 15-lap Real Racing Wheels B-Main victory. 1Friday night brought 39 USMTS entries to Humboldt Speedway (Humboldt, Kansas) for the $5,000 top prize. Starting on the pole of his heat race, Brown cruised to an 8-lap heat win earning him the 8th-starting position for the feature. Breaking into a podium spot, Chris advanced six positions in the 40-lapper to place 2nd behind Stormy Scott with Jason Hughes, Rodney Sanders, and Ryan Gustin completing the Top 5 finishers.

1After Mother Nature wiped out Saturday’s USMTS event at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri), Brown headed to Southern Oklahoma Speedway (Ardmore, Oklahoma) for the Touring Outlaw Modified Series (TOMS) sanctioned program. Leading the night off with a heat race win, Chris earned the 5th-starting position for feature. Wheeling his way into the lead by lap 11, Brown held off the field in the remaining 14 circuits to capture his second win of the season over Austin Bonner, Kale Westover, Colby Smith, and Wesley Veal. - Chris Brown was one of 30 Open Wheel Modified signed in at Heart O’ Texas Speedway (Elm Mott, Texas) on Wednesday night for the final weekend in the United States Modified Touring Series (USTMS) Summit Racing Southern Region presented by Production Jars. Cruising to an 8-lap heat race win from the pole position, Brown earned the 2nd-starting spot for the opening night feature. Hanging on to a Top 5 finish, Chris dropped back to a 5th place finish behind Stormy Scott, Ryan Gustin, Zack VanderBeek, and Chase Allen.

After losing Thursday’s event to weather, Chris headed to Kennedale Speedway Park (Kennedale, Texas) on Friday for the 3rd annual Summit Showdown. Holding his starting position in his heat race, Brown logged a 5th place finish transferring him into the B-Main. Sending the Top 5 into the $3,000-to-win A-Main, Chris posted a runner-up finish behind Zack VanderBeek earning him the 15h-starting spot for the feature. Bringing home a podium finish, Chris Brown stormed through the field 13 positions reeling in a 2nd place spot behind Zack VanderBeek with Jason Hughes, Ryan Gustin, and R.C. Whitwell completing the Top 5 finishers.

On Saturday in a field of 35 cars for the Summit Spring Modified Nationals at Lonestar Speedway (Kilgore, Texas), Brown secured his spot into the $3,000-to-win finale with a 3rd place finish in his heat. Rolling off 10th for the feature, Chris jumped up five spots in the 35-lapper notching a 5th place finish behind Cade Dillard, Travis Saurer, Jason Ingalls, and Zack VanderBeek.

1May 6th, 2017
- Back with the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS), Chris Brown was one of 36 cars signed in at Southern Oklahoma Speedway (Ardmore, Oklahoma) on Thursday evening. Holding his spot the entire distance of his 8-lap heat, Brown scored a 2nd place finish behind Zack VanderBeek earning him the 11th-starting position for the feature. Coming one spot shy of a Top 5 finish, Chris improved five positions to place 6th.

The following night in a field of 32 cars at West Texas Raceway (Lubbock, Texas), Hughes advanced six spots in his heat to capturing an 8-lap heat race win. Rolling off 6th for the main event, Brown slipped back to 11th place outing in the 40-lapper.

For the final night of the three-day USMTS swing on Saturday, Brown headed to Route 66 Motor Speedway (Amarillo, Texas) for the 8th annual Amarillo Ambush. Starting the night off with another heat race victory, Chris earned the 8th-starting position for the main event. With $3,000 on the line, Chris Brown passed five cars reeling in a 3rd place finish behind Ryan Gustin and R.C. Whitwell with Joe Duvall and Austin Bonner completing the Top 5 finishers.

1March 18th, 2017
- Competing with the Touring Outlaw Modified Series (TOMS) on Saturday night, Chris Brown invaded Battleground Speedway (Highlands, Texas). Starting the night off by capturing a heat race win in a field of 20 cars, Brown locked his spot into the 25-lap A-Main. Bringing home a podium finish, Chris notched a 3rd place spot behind Troy Taylor and Triston Dycus with Phillip Houston and Rory Jordan rounding out the Top 5.

1March 11th, 2017 - The United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) resumed action on Thursday evening at Southern Oklahoma Speedway (Ardmore, Oklahoma) for the 5th annual Sooner Showdown presented by Production Jars. Starting on the front row of his heat race, Chris Brown stormed to a 8-lap heat race victory putting him 8th on the starting rundown for the $3,000-to-win A-Main. Breaking into the Top 5, Chris jumped up three spots posting a 5th place finish behind Ricky Thornton Jr., Ryan Gustin, Rodney Sanders, and Johnny Scott.

On Friday night starting 7th in his heat race, Brown placed 6th sending him into the B-Main. Coming short of a transfer spot in his consolation event, Chris was granted a provisional into the A-Main. Coming one spot short of a Top 10 finish, Brown charged through the field fourteen spots reeling in a 11th place finish.

Wrapping up the 5th annual Sooner Showdown on Saturday, Brown secured his spot into the $4,000-to-win finale with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind John Webb. Rolling off 6th for the 50-lap feature, Chris passed three cars scoring a 3rd place finish behind Rodney Sanders and Dereck Ramirez with Zack VanderBeek and Jason Hughes rounding out the Top 5.

- On Thursday night Chris Brown returned with the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) for the 6th annual Cajun Clash presented by Horseshoe Bossier City at Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, Louisiana). Drawing 39 Open Wheel Modifieds, Brown held his 3rd-starting spot in his heat for all 8-laps transferring him into the B-Main. Sending the Top 5 into the opening night feature, Chris secured his spot with a 3rd place finish. Rolling off 17th for the A-Main, Chris Brown passed six cars in the 30-lapper recording an 11th place finish.

1The following night slipping back to a 7th place finish in his heat race, Chris had another shot at the $3,000-to-win A-Main with a B-Main appearance. Taking the Top 5, Brown stormed through the field nine spots scoring a 2nd place finish behind Kyle Strickler. Closing out the 6th annual Cajun Clash on Saturday, Brown secured his spot into the $4,000-to-win feature after passing six cars in his heat to place 4th. Starting in 9th, Chris Brown jumped up six positions in the 50-lap affair posting a 3rd place finish behind Cade Dillard and Ricky Thornton Jr. with Ryan Gustin and Terry Phillips completing the Top 5 finishers.

1February 26th, 2017 - The third round of the Summit Racing United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) Southern Region presented by Production Jars brought 47 cars to Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi) on Friday evening. Rolling off 4th in his heat race, Brown secured his spot into the opening night feature with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Trevor Egbert. Earning the 10th-starting position for the A-Main, Chris wheeled his way up to a runner-up finish behind Cade Dillard with Stormy Scott, Jason Hughes, and Trevor Egbert completing the Top 5.

Saturday afternoon brought 44 USMTS followers to Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) on Saturday for another chance at the $3,000 payday. Starting the night off again by posting a 2nd place finish in his heat race, Brown earned the 10th-starting spot for the main. Passing eight more cars, Chris reeled in a 2nd place finish behind Cade Dillard with Johnny Scott, Stormy Scott, and Ricky Thornton Jr. trailing them across the finish line.

For the final night of the USMTS weekend Chris headed to Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) on Sunday. Landing a 2nd place spot in his heat behind Stormy Scott, Brown earned the 4th-starting position for the $3,000-to-win finale. Hanging on to a Top 5 finish, Chris Brown registered a 5th place spot behind Ricky Thornton Jr., Dereck Ramirez, Zack VanderBeek, and Tyler Wolff.

1February 18th, 2017 - Chris Brown returned with the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) on Thursday at Shady Oaks Speedway (Goliad, Texas) for the second round of the Summit Racing Southern Region presented by Production Jars. In a field of 30 cars, Brown started the night off by cruising to an 8-lap heat race win. Earning the pole position for the $2,000-to-win opening night A-Main, Chris fell two spots in the 30-lapper to place 3rd behind Ricky Thornton Jr. and Stormy Scott with Ryan Gustin and Johnny Scott completing the Top 5 finishers.

On Friday starting 6th in his heat, Brown wheeled his way up to a runner-up finish behind Steve Whiteaker Jr. Earning the pole position for the A-Main, Brown and another car made contact while battling for the lead in the opening laps which sent them spinning around. After being sent to the back of the field, Chris battled his way back to a 15th place outing.

On Sunday wrapping up the second round of the Summit Racing Southern Region, Chris locked his spot into the $4,000-to-win main event with a heat race victory. Rolling off 8th, Chris Brown lost one position in the 40-lapper recording a 9th place finish.

1February 11th, 2017
-The 2017 racing season began for Chris Brown on Thursday night at Cotton Bowl Speedway (Paige, Texas) for the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) season-opener. Drawing 42 Open Wheel Modifieds,  Chris registered a 4th place finish in his heat transferring him into the B-Man. Sending the Top 7 into the $2,000-to-win opening A-Main, Brown secured his spot with a 3rd place finish. Rolling off 18th for the main event, Chris Brown jumped up six positions in the 40-lapper posting a 12th outing.

On Friday Brown started the night off with a heat race victory from the 3rd-starting position putting him 3rd on the starting rundown for the feature. Hanging on to a Top 5 finish, Chris landed a 4th place spot behind Jason Hughes, Stormy Scott, and Johnny Scott with R.C. Whitwell coming in 5th.

1Closing out the Summit Racing USMTS Southern Region event presented by Production Jars on Saturday evening, Brown again wheeled his way to a heat race win from the 3rd-starting spot. Earning the 6th-starting position for the $4,000-to-win finale, Chris worked his way into a podium position in the early stages of the 50-lapper. Taking advantage of a late-race restart, Brown took control of the top spot on the high-side with only 8 circuits remaining. January 4th, 2017 - Making his way to 37 total events during the 2016 season, Chris Brown reeled in four overall victories. With the weather affecting five of his scheduled dates, Brown posted 21 Top 10 finishes and 13 Top 5 outings.

1November 26th, 2016 - Competing in two divisions, Chris Brown headed to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on Friday for the two-day Possum Town Grand Prix. With 66 Crate Late Models signed in for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series sanctioned weekend, Brown secured his spot into the main event with a runner-up finish behind Cory Hedgecock in his heat. Rolling off 10th for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Chris advanced six spots into the 100-lapper registering a 4th place finish behind Riley Hickman, Chase Washington, and Eric Cooley with Grant Garrison coming in 5th.

1In a field of 25 Street Stocks, Brown started the night off with a heat race victory putting him on the pole for the main event. Bringing home his 4th victory of the season, Chris outdueled Justin McRee, Lee Ray, TK King, and Rodney Wing at the finish line.

Over the weekend Chris Brown continued his late-season surge by winning special events in two different divisions during the 21st annual Renegade Race Fuels Texas Grand.

Competing in two separate divisions, Chris Brown traveled to Battleground Speedway (Highlands, Texas) over the weekend to compete in the 21st annual Texas Grand.

Starting on the pole of the Street Stock A-Main in the Innovative Race Cars #17B Jesse McNorton Motorsports entry, Brown led every lap of the main event to capture his second win of the 2016 season, which was worth $1,000.

Rolling off the grid in the 5th-starting spot for the Late Model feature, Brown took control of the lead on lap 5. Once out front he would never look back as he went on to reel in his second victory of the weekend and third overall on the season. The Late Model triumph was worth $2,000.

“It was a really great weekend, and it made it extra special because I got to race close to home with a lot of family and friends at the track,” said Brown. “I want to thank everyone, who made this weekend possible.”

Behind the wheel of the #17B Street Stock, Chris Brown headed to Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Georgia) on Friday night for the two-day Inaugural NeSmith Street Stock World Championship. With 50 cars signed in for the Showdown on the Coast, Brown started the night off with a heat race win putting him on the pole for the main event on Saturday night. Bringing home his first victory of the season, Brown outdueled the field to pick up a $10,000 payday.

1October 8th, 2016 -
Returning to the Super Late Model ranks, Chris Brown invaded Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) on Friday night for the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) sanctioned program. With 54 Super Late Models signed in for the two-day Fall Nationals, Brown placed 5th in his sending him into the B-Main for another shot at the feature. Transferring the Top 2 into the opening night A-Main, Chris fell back to a 4th place outing.

The following night for the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Chris landed a runner-up finish in his heat behind Jack Sullivan locking his spot into the main event. With 50-laps to gain some ground, Brown posted a 22nd place finish.

Teaming up with Cade Dillard for the 18th Annual Featherlite Fall Jamboree, Chris Brown made the trek to Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minnesota) on Thursday for the final night of The Hunt for the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) Casey’s Cup powered by S&S Fishing & Rental. Drawing a stout field of 79 Open Wheel Modifieds, Brown started the night off with a Miner’s Outdoor & Rec heat race victory. Earning the 7th-starting position for the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Chris improved four spots in the 42-lapper posting a 3rd place finish behind Cade Dillard and Jason Hughes with R.C. Whitwell and Zack VanderBeek rounding out the Top 5.

On Friday for the second night of the Jamboree, Brown secured his spot into the main event after capturing a heat race victory from the 7th-starting position. Rolling off 7th for a chance at the $5,000 payday, Chris jumped up two spots scoring a 5th place finish behind Lucas Schott, Cade Dillard, Brandon Davis, and Jason Hughes.

Closing out the 18th Annual Featherlite Fall Jamboree on Saturday, Brown passed two cars in his heat recording a 3rd place finish transferring him into the B-Main. Starting on the pole, Chris cruised to a consolation win giving him the 16th-starting position for the $10,000-to-win finale. Breaking into the Top 10, Chris Brown advanced six positions in the 42-lap affair notching a 10th place finish.

December 10th, 2015 - Competing in a total of forty-nine events, Chris Brown reeled in twelve top ten finish during the 2015 season. After the rain determined the outcome of sixteen of his planned events, Chris collected three top five finishes and an eleventh place spot in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) points standings.
